Occupational therapists play an important role in the treatment of arthritis, helping people get through their everyday activities. An OT examines people to determine how arthritis affects the things they do on a daily basis.
This video explains the symptoms, causes, diagnosis and treatment of this joint disorder.
In the next weeks we will study the assistance ocupational therapists can provide: design splints, recommend assistive devices and come up with plans to help people with arthritis do their daily chores.
