Living with arthritis
The different types of arthritis, symptoms, diagnosis and joints most commonly affected are explained in this tutorial. Since the occupational therapist is a key part in the treatment of patients suffering from arthritis, it is important for you to have good knowledge of this disease.
Next week we will study the main differences between two of the most important types of arthritis: osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as the role of occupational therapists and the use of assistive devices to simplify daily chores.

Creating a mind map
A mind map is created around a specific topic or word, from which different categories are attached. The objective of mind maps is to establish different relationships among words or concepts by creating branches and sub-branches that follow a hierarchy.
During this week, we are going to create a mind map about Occupational Therapy. It is important, first, to identify the most relevant ideas you want to include, and then think about the best categorization scheme.
