How to deal with stress

Both in master and practice lessons we will study different texts and watch some videos included in http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/. This website contains extensive information about health. One of the topics we will work this month is how stress affects people in different situations. We will also recognize the levels of stress and how occupational therapists can help patients to overcome stress.

Defining words

At the end of the course you will be able to make definitions related to words we have worked in class. This website http://www.voanews.com/learningenglish/theclassroom/interactive/ includes some definitions we will use.

Clinical settings

Videos in website http://www.caot.ca/default.asp?pageid=4083 explore different clinical settings where ocupational therapists work. We will watch and study some of them in practice sessions.
