Practice session 3

In this practice session we will discuss the benefits of optimism for health, as well as different ways to deal with unpleasant situations. While some people always see the glass as half full, others believe it is half empty. Positive thinking is good for health.

Practice session 2

Occupational therapists can help children who have a physical or cognitive disability. The objective of this practice session is to understand the role of occupational therapists in child development. We will also study the physical and intellectual traits of a child with William's syndrome. Which features are important for a health professional when communicating and working with children?

Practice session 1

During this week, we will engage in some debates about stem cell research. More specifically, we are going to discuss how stem cells can be used to treat Parkinson's disease.

Office hours from 18th September to 19th October will be held on:

Monday from 9:00  to 12:00
Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00
Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00

Practice sessions

Practice sessions start on Monday, 24th September (Faculty of Health Sciences).

Timetable for academic year 2012-2013

Master lessons will take place on Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:00 and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 (Faculty of Health Sciences).
